Did you know ?  In the late 40's, while Blue Bell is selling its first ever male denim under the Wrangler brand, a jeans version for women is launched under the label 'Jeanies by Blue Bell'. The sanforised denim (anti-shrinking treatment) is then lined with a checked red and blue flannel on a white background. The cut respects the female shape with a high and fitted waist, following the fashion of slim sizes back then. Jeans are zipped on the side rather than on the front. They are worn rolled up at the bottom of the legs.
