Did you know ?  Denim is a cotton twill fabric. The twill weave is characterised by diagonal ribbed pattern obtained by the interlacing of two different types of threads, warp and weft. In the cotton duck, initially used for jeans in 19th century, all threads have the same colour, whereas the denim tend to use natural yarn interlaced with indigo-dyed threads.
