Did you know ?  In the 18th century, the Manchester area produces a huge quantity of cloths, amongst them the cotton fabric (used for jeans). A sample book from back then, tells us that these kinds of cloths were worn by remarkable people and were also often used as greatcoats for officers. They are easy to clean when needed.
